Horrible, don't waste the money!
It doesn't show you how to scream. It doesn't give you anything to practice. It is absolutely not worth a penny if you're looking for a comprehensive vocal technique. The Art of Screaming is light years better. Just go buy that one.

This Gets Down to Screaming!
The 2nd DVD from Melissa Cross, deals almost exclusively with Screaming. The 1st DVD touches on the basic techniques and mechanics of proper voice production with a few references here and there to screaming, but volume 2 gets down to the nitty gritty. Excellent. Make sure you have the first one though, since some of the scream techniques taught might be hard to follow without learning the basics from the 1st DVD

As a vocal coach who teaches screaming myself, I personally endorse the Melissa cross series. Whether people buy my books or come to me for lessons, when it deals with screaming, I tell all of my students/buyers to purchase Zen I & II. These DVDs rock!!!

Aha... another good DVD
Alot of the questions I had after Zen Of Screaming 1 were answered here, there is alot of nice easy to understand information here specific to screaming and growling as techniques. Overall a good instructional DVD!

This is the best way to find out what to do when you're completelylost and all you can get is choir lessons... If you are a metal singer and wish to improve, Melissa's the best you can get...
