Good stuff
I have all his DVD's. The lessons are great. They cover the basics that are important in the class. Of course not all information is covered in the DVD's. Think of it as an overview of hot topics. I have used these DVD's before I took a class and them reviewed them along the way. I also have purchased some of the idoit and dummy guides as a type of work book. They all together give you a different way to look at the math martial. Because as you know, most math books are written by brainy math folks, and they are not the easiest to follow.

Excellent resource for those struggling w/ Algebra 2!
I bought this for my son who was struggling with Algebra 2. It has helped him tremendously. It is not a substitute for doing homework or for class participation, but it has helped him to better understand concepts he wasn't quite grasping on his own while studying whatever his teacher assigned, and using class notes. It's a good supplement.

It seems suspicious to me that the only review written by 18 of the 23 "5-star" reviewers is for The Algebra 2 Tutor. I have to wonder why so many customers who are so passionate about sharing their opinion would only do so for this one item in particular. Hmmmmmmm?????

Right on time
This product is fantastic for me as math has never been my strong suit. I needed to take an assessment to test high enough to get into the one and only math class I need to obtain my degree. The easy and convenient format I'm sure will assist me in doing so.

Helpful but boring.
This DVD is not very good quality because so much is crammed onto such little space but it works well enough, I suppose. The recording is a close up of a dry-erase board upon which a man writes examples and equations while explaining them. It's much like a boring classroom lecture... but the benefit of the DVD is obviously that you can review it as often as needed. I can only stand to watch about a half and hour or so at a time as it's rather dry... but I have learned from it.
