Emma was born with Down syndrome which makes her different from her twin sister, Abigale. Our expectations are automatically lowered. Yet, in telling Emma's story through the eyes of her parents, the film challenges our perception of difference. Wonderful story of inclusion, terrific for parents of preschoolers with disabilities
This documentary is a warm and welcoming film, perfect for Teachers, health care providers and parents of young children with Down syndrome and their extended families. It focuses on how someone's differences don't necessarily equate with deficiencies. Emma is a remarkable young child, a precocious reader, very charming and sociable. She has a typically developing twin sister to irritate and to argue with. Emma also has Down syndrome.

There is good information on oral motor therapy, IEP ideas and general information on Down syndrome. It is appropriate for siblings from the ages of about 7+. My extended family and friends liked it because it gave them a better idea of what my own daughter with Down syndrome could achieve.
