Lesson 3 consists of providing you with a Self-Tutorial on the typical operations done on numbers. These include: absolute value, opposites, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and simple exponents. Order of Operations is covered in detail. I also explain how to use your graphing calculator to help you perform all these operations. ANOTHER NOTE: This disc is meant to be viewed using a DVD player on a WIDESCREEN (16:9 aspect ratio) TV. My videos are NOT meant to be viewed on Standard 4:3 aspect ratio TVs. In fact, The videos were originally meant to be viewed ONLY on computer monitors and iPods, so even on a widescreen TV, you may experience some "cropping" (chopped off portions of the videos). For the best viewing experience, watch the DVDs using DVD software on your computer. Unfortunately, when these videos were made, I used a cheap wireless microphone, so you will hear an occasional "pop" and "buzz" sound when I am talking. I am sorry about this.
