Amazing factual review
With few exceptions, this film shows in clear, stark---and well-documented---sections the history of Islamic hatred for the Jewish people, and from whence comes today's "Arab war against Israel."

As all will see who take the two hours needed to view this comprehensive film, that hatred has very little to do with Israel's modern establishment in 1948, and almost everything to do with the founding principles of Islam, as established by Mohammad himself in his battles against the 7th century Jewish tribes of Arabia. For those who do not know it, Medina (Yathreb, in those days) was actually a Jewish town, and Jewish farmers worked their rich fig and date plantations on its outskirts, to the benefit of all Arabia.

Alas, when the Jewish people of Arabia refused to convert to the new religion Mohammad devised, he exiled and slaughtered them all---taking their wives and children as slaves.

Concerning the supposed "golden age" of Islam, I beg to differ with the film's statements of Islamic achievements. For that particular section, the film relied on but one source, whose reports are distorted by personal bias, and refuted by a host of other historical material, including the critical historical exposes assembled by Dr. Andrew Bostom, The Legacy of Jihad and The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism.

But that caveat aside, this film is riveting, and extremely educational, so much so that even friends not generally interested in the Middle East or Islam sat through the entire showing with only one short break.

Especially for those raised on video media, and less prone to read encyclopedic works revealing the history exposed here, this film is a Godsend. Get it, view it, and recommend it, highly!

This is a Brilliant DVD ...The Power point type presentation is very effective ,Joel did a Great job ,but one Historical error was naming Rudolf Hess as the commandant of Aushwitz it actually was a Nazi named Rudolf Hoess...Hess was Shot down over Scotland in 1941 ,he was trying to meet with the Duke of Hamilton to convince him to get Britain to align themselves with the NAZI'S(SLIM CHANCE)By the way go to ASK.COM and type in Rudolf Hoess ,His Testimony at the Nuremburg Trials is there for all to read..he Brags there was 400,000 Hungarian Jews Executed there in the Summer of 1944 ALONE!!!!.. there had been Mass Gassing there since 1941!!!

Farewell Israel, a clear warning to Israel and the West
Farewell Israel is a clear and stark warning to the nation of Israel, to every Jew anywhere on earth and to all western nations, a warning that we have an enemy and that enemy is real and it is fully commited to our overthrow and destruction. This is the clear message brought out in this film and I feel it is done very effectively. Peace can not be made with this enemy Islam, because they will not tolerate the making of peace with infidels (that is us).
Those who fail to realize this are in for a very rude and unpleasant awakening. Islam is hell-bent on world domination, it is working 24/7 and overtime to fulfill what they feel is their god given mandate and it is already showing strong progress in this regard in many western nations, especialy in Europe and the UK (while much of those populations sleep. Jews and Christians (true Christians that is) will not be spared the sword in any full Islamic government and rule. We need to wake-up fast!

a must view
This is a must-see video for everyone who doesn't want their children and grandchildren to live under the lash of Islamic sharia. It makes clear the nature of Islam, citing Islamic texts, Koran and Haditha, in the process. Most importantly, it shows why clueless Western leaders and politically correct intellectrual elites cannot effectively respond to the Islamic threat to Western civilization. This video is long, over two hours and slow at points, especially the first 45 minutes, but its conclusions are irrefutable and chilling. It is must see viewing for everyone who believes in freedom of speech, freedom of religion, academic freedom, democracy, and Judeo-Christian values.

historical insights as backdrop to a dangerous future
This documentary provides a clear understanding of Islamic thought and behaviors across the centuries. It then transitions to how and why western leaders have continually failed to appreciate and understand the basis for Islamic behavior, and proceed invariably to play into the hands of the worst elements from that world.

It then projects the disasterous results if these patterns continue unchecked into the future.

Some historical pieces of significance have been left out, as have more moderate Islamic points of view. Of course, the full treatment of the subject might have became less focused, too long, and less interesting. I would have like to see more suggestions how to deal successfully with the threats.

It is an ambitious undertaking, and, neverthelss, successfully executed. Should be viewed by the foreign service of most countries, and the military strategic planners for Israel.
