Signing Time! Volume 2
What a great way for kids to learn sign language. My son is not hearing impaired, but a friend gave me Volume 1 after I shared with her the frustration my son and I shared with not being able to communicate effectively with one another. After watching the first volume a couple of times, he picked up signs that were very helpful to him in sharing with me what he was trying to say. Now he's preschool age and talking, but he still likes to combine signs with verbal communication. We have volumes 1-3 and I intend to buy more. The price is very reasonable given the results I've seen. They're entertaining; the songs are catchy; and Rachel, Leah and Alex are very engaging. Before watching these with my son, I knew one or two signs. Now I know many and they have helped spur my sons interest in communication.
I highly recommend the Signing Time! DVDS for anyone, any age.

Good..
My son LOVED the first one in this series but for some reason has not been attracted to this one quite as much but it's a WONDERFUL series and fun.. the kids seem to learn quite easily and we've watched the first one over and over and over!!!

Best signing series yet
My daughter has been watching this series since she was 6 months old. She is now 18 months and has an extremely large vocal and sign vocabulary. She is already stringing a series of signs together to communicate a complete thought. While the videos do identify each word clearly, they also sign the wonderful songs they sing. They even include the written word that is being signed with helped to stimulate her intrest in reading. 10 out of 10 times she will choose to watch a signing time movie over a Disney movie. An additional feature is that they auto start and restart. So if you are driving in the car you only need to put it in and it will go and go. They run over 30 minutes and have additional signs at the end so don't be too quick to stop the movie. We did try other signing movies and books but this series is by far the best. It engages children on so many level, promotes interaction with other, developes self confidence and all while being very entertaining.

We love these dvds!
These videos are pleasant for the whole family to hear/watch over and over and our 18 month old toddler is mesmerized by them. He has been in no hurry to begin talking so we decided to try some signing with him to encourage constructive communication. He has picked right up on it and frequently tells us what he wants with sign language that we've learned from these videos. We have volumes 1-3 and that I think is sufficient to get us through until he talks more. Surprisingly, it seems the videos have inspired him to verbalize more and he's now showing more interest in talking and using actual words! I highly recommend this series.

Signing time teaches kids to communicate at an early age!
My sister-in-law had purchased this video for her daughter who is now 1 year old. Her daughter, although not clear when she talks, signs all kinds of words. It's very cute and easier to understand than baby babble. My daughter, who is 3 1/2, loved the DVD so much that I purchased parts 1 and 2. She loves the music and the signing. I had taught her how to sign the alphabet when she was 2 and she caught on pretty fast. She knows how to sign all her letters! And now with this DVD collection, she can learn so much more! I would recommend it for all new parents as well as parents of young children.
